365 Mosaic of Goodness
One promise. One action. One growing Mosaic of Goodness.
The 365 Mosaic of Goodness is a free, ongoing community initiative that connects libraries, schools, nonprofits, senior centers, and other organizations through one simple idea: goodness grows when we pass it on.
Each participating organization creates a local Mosaic of Goodness using simple paper notes and a digital poster provided by 365 Mosaic Foundation. Every person who takes part writes one good thing they intend to do, adds that promise to the local Mosaic, and then carries the promise into real life.
At the same time, each participating organization passes the invitation forward to at least one other organization, helping a visible national network of goodness continue to grow.
Participation begins with an invitation from a participating organization.
If you received an invitation, please use the unique link included in it to join the Mosaic.
A Meaningful Community Activity — Without Adding Another Program to Your Schedule
Part of Something Larger — Your local Mosaic becomes one node in a growing national network connecting communities through acts of goodness.
Free to Participate — There is no participation fee.
Minimal Staff Time — Display the digital poster, provide small paper notes, and create a space where people can add their promises.
No Special Materials — Use ordinary office paper, sticky notes, or small paper squares already available at your organization.
No Participant Registration — Individual participants do not create accounts, submit names, or provide email addresses.
Open to All Ages — Children, teens, adults, families, and seniors can all participate in the same community Mosaic.

One Small Promise Can Become a Real Act of Goodness
Write one good thing you will do.
Add your promise to the Mosaic.
Then take the goodness with you — and make it real.
Participants do not need to report what they did, provide proof, register, or share personal information. The promise belongs to them. The important part happens after they leave — when the words on the paper become a real act of goodness.
A Visible Network — and an Invisible One
The Visible Network
Every participating organization becomes a numbered node on the growing national map.
The map will show how the invitation travels from one organization to another and how new branches of the Mosaic grow across communities and states.
Over time, each node may show its organization name, city and state, joining number, network connections, and completed Mosaic photo.
The Invisible Network
The larger network can never be fully mapped.
Every promise added to a local Mosaic is meant to become one real act of goodness between people. We do not count these acts. We do not ask participants to report them. We do not collect names or proof.
Some of the most important parts of the Mosaic will always remain invisible — living in the lives of the people who pass goodness forward.

Who Can Join the Mosaic?
The 365 Mosaic of Goodness is open to libraries, schools and preschools, nonprofit organizations, senior and community centers, museums and cultural organizations, youth- and family-serving organizations, and other eligible community organizations that bring people together and serve their communities.
The Mosaic is intentionally intergenerational. A single local Mosaic may include promises written by children, teenagers, parents, adults, and seniors.

Why a Mosaic?
A mosaic is made from many small pieces. Each one is different. Each one matters. Together, they create something none of them could create alone.
The same is true of goodness. One promise may seem small. One action may reach only one person. But when communities keep passing goodness forward, those small actions become part of something much larger.
That is the idea behind the 365 Mosaic of Goodness.
