Your child’s artwork will appear in our online exhibition and in a printed catalog, so the photo must be of print quality. Please read these guidelines carefully before submitting: submissions that do not meet them cannot be accepted, and photos cannot be replaced after submission.
What to Photograph
- One original artwork per child. Siblings are welcome; please use a separate form for each child.
- The whole artwork, with nothing cut off.
- Only the artwork: crop the photo to the edges of the paper or canvas, with no table, wall, hands or other objects visible.
- No faces, full names, school names or addresses in the photo. A child’s signature on the artwork is fine.
How to Take the Photo
- Place the artwork flat or hang it on a wall, and photograph it straight on, not at an angle.
- Use even daylight. Avoid flash, shadows and glare.
- Make sure the photo is sharp and in focus.
- A regular phone camera is perfect. Scans are welcome at 400 dpi or higher (600 dpi for artwork smaller than letter size).
- For digital artwork: upload the original exported file, not a screenshot or a reduced copy.
Format
- JPG, PNG or HEIC, up to 100 MB.
- Upload the original file. Screenshots, and photos sent through WhatsApp, Messenger, text messages or email, are not accepted, because these apps shrink the image.
No Editing
No filters, retouching, or AI enhancement or editing. Cropping and rotating are fine.
Small Adjustments by 365 for Kids
By submitting, you allow 365 for Kids to make small technical adjustments for display and print (cropping the background, straightening, adjusting brightness or color to match the original) without changing the artwork itself.
All submissions are final. Please check your photo before you submit.
